Today,we remember in tears, gratitude, and deep love a remarkable nonagenarian-a devoted Pastor, loving father, mentor, evangelist, faithful steward, and a man whose Faith never wavered. His departure has left a space in our hearts that words can not adequately describe. We will miss his voice, his wisdom, his prayers, his kindness, his welcoming heart, and the warmth of his presence. He was a father not only to his children, but to many who found guidance, encouragement and love in him.He served God faithfully, preached the Gospel passionately, welcomed people generously, and placed family close to his heart.Through every season of life, his trust in God remained steadfast. He taught us not only by his words, but by the life he lived.I recalled vividly having to come to our house of several kilometers away via public transportation to pray for my wife not minding the distance and the inconvenience.i also recalled while working together where Gospel publications and materials are kept in the old children’s hall, while working together,he gives spiritual counsel, advices and prayers, those times are memorable and those counsels, advices and prayers sticks with me and has helped me navigate through life challenges. We mourn because we loved him deeply, but we rejoice because he lived a life of worthy honor. His earthly journey may have ended, but his legacy lives on- in his family,in those he mentored, and in every life he touched.A great man has gone home, but his faith, love, and legacy will live forever.Rest peacefully Papa, faithful servant.
“He taught me Papa Shidali taught me to have absolutely faith and trust in the words of God in solving all life’s challenges..”
