Rev. Paul Shidali - A Sage

If not for the life of humility that was exemplified, if not for the truth that was declared at all times, if not for supports for the service of God that was evidently provided, there is one thing that will make the personality of Rev. Paul Shidali unforgettable in my heart. When my late uncle, John Oyedun, was called home, there were countless sympathisers and many words of comfort. Those words helped at those times but there is a remark I am left with when I have forgotten other remarks. This remark from Rev. Paul Shidali has always guided my steps in life - in the church and in the circular. I did not come back to tell him how graciously those words helped shaped my life but today I am a witness to the godly wisdom that he possessed. You have imparted the world. Continue to rest in the bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ whom you served dutifully and faithfully. See you in the morning, daddy. Rest on.
