A TRIBUTE TO REV. PAUL SHIDALI A Legacy of Faith, Love, and Spiritual Sacrifice We give thanks to Almighty God for the life and enduring legacy of Rev. Paul Shidali—a life marked by unwavering faith, genuine love, spiritual sacrifice, and wholehearted dedication to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My wife, Toyin Akindele, holds fond and treasured spiritual memories of your inspiring testimonies and Christian fellowship at Ilorin, during the early days of the Apostolic Faith Kwara State Camp Meetings. I also had the wonderful privilege of receiving your direct spiritual mentorship through my spiritual benefactor and father in the faith, Rev. Jerome Legbami, who was your dear friend and my pastor at the Apostolic Faith Church, Jebba, Kwara State. I can still vividly remember your contagious enthusiasm for the Gospel, your burning passion for evangelism, and your fervent, prevailing prayer life. Your unwavering commitment to the work of God left an indelible impression upon my spiritual journey. Oh, what precious memories! Though you have departed this earthly life, you have faithfully passed the torch of faith to the next generation. Your spiritual footprints remain, and your legacy continues to live on in the lives of those you mentored, encouraged, and inspired to follow Christ. Your life reminds us of the words of the Apostle Paul: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV) Until Jesus comes, we will continue, by God’s grace, to follow the godly footprints you left behind and uphold the patterns of righteous living, fervent prayer, sacrificial service, and unwavering devotion to Christ that you so faithfully demonstrated. Rest from your labours, faithful servant of God. Your works and legacy will continue to speak for generations to come. Until we meet again on that glorious Resurrection Morning, when we shall gather with the redeemed around the throne of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Precious memories! Blessed hope! Glorious reunion! With heartfelt gratitude and loving remembrance, Shola and Toyin Akindele Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
