Some people pass through this world and leave memories behind. Others pass through this world and leave a legacy of faith, character, love and godliness in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing them. Daddy was one of such people. It is difficult to put into words the kind of man he was to many of us. He was not merely a father in the faith; he was a living example of what it means to genuinely love Jesus Christ and to walk with Him until the very end. At 94, Daddy lived a life that preached even when he was not speaking. His humility spoke. His kindness spoke. His integrity spoke. His love spoke. His prayer life spoke. His unwavering commitment to Christ spoke. Rest peacefully, Daddy. You lived well. You loved well. You served well. You prayed well. You finished well. Your voice may be silent, but your testimony will continue to speak. Thank you, Dad, for showing us what it means to genuinely walk with Jesus. Until we meet again at the feet of our Lord and Saviour, sleep on thou faithful servant of the most High! Your memory is blessed, and your legacy will live on till that very day we meet again at Jesus’ feet!
