Rev. Paul Shidali was truly a man of God—a lover of God and a lover of people. A man of great integrity, a devoted father, a faithful pastor, and a servant of the Most High who dedicated his life to the truth of God’s Word. He was a man who stood firmly and uncompromisingly for the truth. He preached it, lived it, defended it, and demonstrated it through the life he lived. His faith was not merely spoken; it was evident in his character, his integrity, his love for people, and his unwavering commitment to God. To many, he was a pastor. To others, a father, mentor, teacher, counsellor, and spiritual leader. He poured himself into the lives of others and faithfully fulfilled the assignment God entrusted to him. This world has truly lost a gem, but heaven has gained a faithful servant. Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the life he lived, the souls he touched, the truth he proclaimed, and the legacy of faith he leaves behind. His voice may be silent on this side of eternity, but the seeds he planted and the lives he impacted will continue to speak for generations. **Sleep on, Rev. Paul Shidali. Sleep on, God’s General. You fought the good fight. You kept the faith. You finished your course.** Until the resurrection morning, your labour of love will never be forgotten. **This world lost a gem. Heaven gained a General.** Rest in the presence of the God you loved and served so faithfully.
“He taught me To stand for truth.”
