Daddy you taught me love, faith, and prayer, you showed me love in the early morning prayers when you would call our names before God while we were still sleeping. You showed love by getting on your knees for your family when no one was watching. You showed love in your faith. Daddy you believed God with your whole heart. When things were hard, you didn't panic — you prayed. When things were good, you gave thanks. Your Bible was worn because you actually read it. Your faith was real because you actually lived it. Daddy showed us love at home. He provided, he protected, and he corrected us with love and patience. Daddy never wanted to be seen — he just wanted to serve God and love his family well. Your love was a reflection of your prayer life. Your prayer life was a reflection of your faith. And your faith is now your victory. Daddy, thank you for showing us what love looks like. Thank you for praying us through. Your love remains, your prayers remain, and your faith remains in us. We will continue what you started. We love you forever. Rest well, Daddy.
